Taking a brief break from work to remind all those readers to make sure you check out your local record stores this Saturday April 18th! It is Record Store Day and many local stores will have tons of fun and excitement happening.
Those in Calgary:
Sloth Records - these guys will have something happening I am sure so make sure to go down and check it out.
Melodiya Records - website sucks and I have no idea if they are doing any shows, but support them they have nice staff.
Inner Sleeve - My favorite Calgary Record Store! They will probably have a sale and may have a show, who knows go check it out they are the best!
Those in Toronto:
Sonic Boom Records - Will be having a show starting at 4pm with prizes and giveaways and all sorts of good stuff. Here is the line up from the website:

Criminal Records - Will be also give free stuff away and having a great show with Rock Plaza Central and the Great Bloomers playing. Shows will be starting around 6.

Record Store Day supports the independent record stores and is a wonderful celebration of music and the enjoyment it brings us all. Support your local record store and check out some amazing local artists this weekend!!!!!
